1. Information we collect
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary to provide and improve the Service:
- Account information - name, email address, password, and organisation name when you create an account.
- Tournament & player data - players, draws, scores, standings, and event details that you (as an organiser) enter or upload.
- Payment information - if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Communications - messages you send us (e.g. demo requests, support enquiries) and your contact preferences.
- Usage & device data - log data, device and browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP address, collected via cookies and analytics.
2. How we use it
We use personal information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including draws, live scoring, standings, and analytics;
- create and manage your account and process subscription payments and renewals;
- respond to your enquiries and provide customer support;
- send service-related communications and, where you have opted in, product updates;
- improve, secure, and develop the Service, including analytics and troubleshooting; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
Where the law requires consent (for example, certain marketing communications), we will obtain it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
3. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. We use analytics tools to measure traffic and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.
4. Disclosure & third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only:
- to trusted service providers who help us operate the Service - for example hosting and infrastructure, our payment processor, analytics, and email delivery - under obligations of confidentiality and security;
- where you direct us to (for example, sharing a public results link you create);
- if required or authorised by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person; and
- in connection with a business sale or restructure, subject to this Policy.
5. Player & tournament data
Organisers may enter information about players (such as names and results) to run events. If you are an organiser, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide that information and for informing players how their data will be used. We process this data on your behalf to provide the Service. If you are a player and have a question about your data, please contact the organiser who ran your event, or contact us and we will assist.
6. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs and protected by appropriate safeguards.
7. Security & retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet our legal obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it.
8. Your rights
Under the APPs you may:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete;
- ask us to delete information where we are not required to keep it; and
- opt out of marketing communications at any time.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Children
The Service is intended for tournament organisers and is not directed at children. Where a minor participates in an event, their information is provided and managed by the organiser. If you believe we hold a child’s personal information without appropriate authority, contact us and we will address it.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Significant changes will be notified through the Service or by email where appropriate.
